OXFORD, MASSACHUSETTS — bankHometown recently hired Jane W. Loranger of Boylston as vice president of Commercial Lending.

Loranger joins bankHometown with 14 years of commercial banking experience, having served most recently as vice president of non-profit banking at People’s United Bank. Prior to that, she was vice president of commercial banking at United Bank and a commercial credit analyst at Commonwealth National Bank.

Loranger holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Clark University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Massachusetts Boston. She also is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies, an intensive, two-year program offered through the Massachusetts Bankers Association.

Loranger is active in her community, serving as treasurer and a member of the board of governors of the Greendale Family Branch YMCA in Worcester and as a board member of the Worcester Community Housing Resources. Previously, she served as treasurer and a board member of Worcester East Side Community Development Corporation, as treasurer and a board member of AIDS Project Worcester, and as a loaned executive for the United Way.
